Learning Language Through Play
Lego Club (STEM) | 3 - 12 Years | Serving Chikusa-Ku, Nagoya
Small Groups, Huge Discoveries
In our hands-on LEGO sessions, kindergarteners (4-6 kids) and elementary students (4-8 kids) explore STEM concepts while using English in a fun, natural way. Through Duplo, LEGO stations, and interactive challenges, they build, create, and communicate—making language learning purposeful, engaging, and part of every exciting discovery.
Building Blocks for Strong Communication
Through hands-on play, children effortlessly absorb new language, naming objects, describing textures, and discussing their creations. As they experiment with different pieces, they practice asking questions, comparing, and giving instructions. This interactive approach strengthens verbal skills, encourages curiosity, and helps them express thoughts clearly in a fun, pressure-free environment.
Collaboration Through Creativity & Imagination
Creative Storytelling Brings Builds to Life
From castles to rocket ships, LEGO creations become the foundation for exciting stories. As children describe their builds, they expand their vocabulary, practice expressive language, and develop creativity. Acting out scenes and inventing characters encourages clear communication, active listening, and confidence in sharing ideas.
Hands-On Learning That Makes Sense
Following step-by-step LEGO instructions strengthens a child’s ability to understand sequences, recognize patterns, and process directional language like “on top,” “next to,” and “under.” This hands-on approach enhances comprehension, early reading skills, and logical thinking. As children build, they develop patience, problem-solving strategies, and the confidence to follow and give instructions independently.
