Kids Get Hands-On With Cupcakes While Building Teamwork, Math, & Problem-Solving Skills
Cupcake Club | 3 - 12 Years | Serving Chikusa-Ku, Nagoya
Where Learning is the Icing on the Cake (Literally)
Led by Ms. Christy, Owner of London Cupcakes, this themed class encourages creativity and curiosity. With small groups, each child decorates a cupcake inspired by a character from a story. At the end, they take home their sweet creations to share and show off! Decorating their masterpiece helps kids develop new skills with a sweet treat waiting at the end.
Baking, Learning, & Fun—Oh My!
Step-by-step instructions help kids strengthen their comprehension skills by carefully following each decorating direction. Through hands-on fun, they learn to process sequences, understand action words, and complete tasks.
Teamwork & Treats Go Hand in Hand
Teamwork is at the heart of the kitchen, from sharing ingredients to decorating cupcakes. Kids practice communication skills by asking for help, taking turns, and working together toward a common (and delicious) goal. Every sprinkle and swirl helps them gain confidence in expressing themselves in a relaxed, social setting.
Speak Up & Sweeten Communication Skills
What’s better than describing your favorite cupcake flavor? Kids naturally build confidence in speaking by explaining their creations, expressing opinions, and sharing their baking experiences. Each “This cupcake tastes amazing!” or “I love chocolate frosting” strengthens their ability to speak clearly and comfortably.
Strengthening Math & Problem-Solving Skills
A cupcake class is a tasty way to introduce math and critical thinking. Measuring frosting teaches counting and fractions while following decorating patterns reinforces sequencing. If something doesn’t go as planned, kids learn to troubleshoot and make adjustments—essential problem-solving skills disguised as delicious fun!
